She only went and blooming did it. Kate Bagshaw, our brilliant new technical support dude, not even in her first full year as part of the team to the AWARD for Outstanding Technical Support at the Student-Led Teaching Awards run but the Students Union. Kate had this to say:
"Having only started my job at the University in October, it means a lot to know the students already value what I do within the team. Winning was an honour and I'm really thankful to the students who took the time to nominate me and say such lovely things."
Which is very sweet. We're super stoked on team SFX for Kates win. This means that we've picked up and AWARD at the SLTAwards every year for the last 3. Outstanding Lecturer went to our brilliant Film FX colleague Edwin Priest.
